That moment when you see the ending credits in Monster Hunter Portable 3rd. 

Your past flashes before your eyes with just a animation…

Whether you started in Kokoto, or started in Moga. You feel the nostalgia, you smell the hardwork, the hours and think, “Have I wasted my life in this game?” Whether be it minutes or hours of being in the world of Monster Hunter, you never waste your life in it, it has become a way of life for you. That moment when you killed your first Wyvern, learning its habits, working for weapons and armors. Think of all that hardwork, and feel proud to be a hunter… The life you see now and the life you see in the game begin to intertwine, that feeling, knowing if that world was real, you’d succeed at anything, and even so you are a success.

“It’s been 9 years… 9 years and I still play Monster Hunter. I still remember picking up the game for the PS2, that label with “CAPCOM” on it caught my eyes and I was sucked in instantly. I remember learning to cook my first Well-Done Steak after learning how to time it right. Fighting my first Yian Kut-ku in Velociprey Armor, the joyous defeat of my first wyvern. Then facing the King of Skies, I learned to use a greatsword and stuck with it against the red beast. Then Rathian came along and I saw myself in her. I wore her armor, her greatsword, and killed every wyvern possible. From then on years passed, Freedom 1, Freedom 2, and Unite and Tri. Years passed fast with those hunts in there, I remember getting Unite, the day it came out was before my birthday. Only the rathian armor stuck with me, my greatsword shown proudly. I am the Queen. Portable 3rd, my heart felt a sad feeling, even if it wasn’t localized, I still attempted to play and got it. I grew old, and “Traveled” to my new home town, Mezepourta (Frontier) I will never forget my first hunt, my first home “village” in Monster Hunter. All that emotion for just a video game, shows your passion, I’ve made may friends, a lover, foes, and fans. All because of Monster Hunter, I became a known Hunter to the west… All because the game I picked up at a store, it did change my life… and now I live to help other hunter in need, teaching them to kill different beasts or just the basics :)

Kakabu Gunner Series: Fast Sheathe, Loadspd+3, Load up, Inspiration (random skill)

Oh those sets look quite nice…Man I wish I could play Frontier

Monster Hunter Frontier Event - April Fool’s Quest



Every year Capcom holds a April Fools Quest, and it is always something you wouldn’t Expect.

HR1 Mosswine, Do not bring items

Once you start the quest you see that the quest has taken your armor and only left you with the weapon you took, you also get no quest items. Once you enter the arena, it’s just 1 mosswine. 

Once you hit it, it turns to a DEMON!!! A FUCKING DEMON! “Kami no Mosu” we started calling it, aka “Demon Mosswine” or “Mosswine from Hell”

When you hit it, no matter what sharpness your weapon is, it still bounces off! It can 1hit kill you, and the only way to kill it is to hit it in mid charge, which is VERY risky. 

Reward items - Garbage. about 6 pieces of Garbage…
